The Soap Box Company

Well okay I lied in my last post. Sort of. More like fibbed. This first review will focus only in the site thesoapboxco.com not the actual products. Mainly because I bought a ton of stuff and can't be bothered to review all of it at once. Later I will review my purchases in small groupings. Or one by one. I haven't decided. Anywho.

THE SOAP BOX COMPANY!!!!!
I like them. Or her. Or him. Or it. I don't know. I assume that it is more than one person running this site, but maybe not.

The Soap Box Co is a site which sells a bunch of different brands of indie bath products, facial products, soaps, oils and perfumes both solid and liquid. From what I can tell most of the products are vegan. I say most because there are a few featuring honey or silk.
The Soap Box Company features products from: Arcana, Bath Nation, Bella Lucce, Bunny Butt Apothecary, Cobalt Blends, Crazy Rumors, Flourish, Haunt, Haus of Gloi, I Smell Good, Magic Hands Workshop, Savor, Super Bad, Sweet Petula, The Beer Soap Co, The Soap Box Company, Villainess, Wiggle, WoodSprite Organic Body, Wylde, and Ivy. AND MORE!

TSBC has been professionally done but it doesn't feel like it. The navigation is easy to understand and I like that it has the products split into smaller categories and subcategories. TSBC also provides links to reviews and has a search in which you can look up products by items or companies. The cart has an icon at the top of the page, my only complaint about the cart is that if you fill it up and then log into the site your cart does not transfer.

TSBC also has free gifts with purchase, samples and a rewards program for loyal customers.

I'm not going to tell you what I ordered in this post because TSBC is not the creator of these products and my opinions of what I bought do not relate to the site.

However I will tell you about shipping!

Shipping & Packaging

For me the shipping was suuuper expensive. TSBC only does flat rate and at the time of my order shipping was $10.50USD. They changed it recently and now shipping is a flat $8.95. I still feel that TSBC is rather expensive, especially if you aren't buying very much. They ship via USPS. My order was received within three days.

My order was well packaged. My items came in a small white box with a red ribbon (it was Christmas season) and there was a small tag attached. My invoice was also included.

Conclusion
Would I order from The Soap Box Company again?
I already have. -____-
  • They have a TON of different companies which is awesome. I can buy from different places all at once and only pay for shipping once.

  • They have a quick turn around with quality packaging despite the high price for shipping.

  • The prices are the same on TSBC.com as they are from the actual retailer so you're not paying extra. Plus, retailers sometimes make limited edition products just for TSBC.

  • Free stuff, awesome samples, AND a rewards program?? How can you lose?
