Villainess - Lehua Whipped!

I really like Villainess although I ordered this lotion through The Soap Box Company. I ordered it as a part of a four piece sample set. I wish I had pictures. The bottles are little, adorable jars. At first I thought there wouldn't be enough to really test it out but these samples have lasted me a looong time. Villainess' whipped lotions leave my skin feeling soft but not greasy. Also, the scent lasts forever on your skin.

The point of this post, however, is not to rave about the awesome quality of their products. I want to talk specifically about their scent Lehua. It is a scent that they started selling in 2007 and currently it is only available on The Soap Box Company website. Lehua stinks. A lot. It smells like something my grandmother would wear. Lehua's description is: big white blossoms - pikaki, tuberose, lily and narcissus - honeyed with sweet Hawaiian ginger. The lily overpowers everything. The scent is overpowering and my coworkers have literally complained about 'the stink'.

I love Villainess but will never order this scent again.

The Soap Box Company

Well okay I lied in my last post. Sort of. More like fibbed. This first review will focus only in the site thesoapboxco.com not the actual products. Mainly because I bought a ton of stuff and can't be bothered to review all of it at once. Later I will review my purchases in small groupings. Or one by one. I haven't decided. Anywho.

THE SOAP BOX COMPANY!!!!!
I like them. Or her. Or him. Or it. I don't know. I assume that it is more than one person running this site, but maybe not.

Separation of Blogs? I THINK NOT.

I could make a separate blog for product reviews but why bother? I am going to keep everything in one place. It makes my life easier and that is a true American style. So! Next post will be my first product review. ;D Or... maybe not. I won't make promises, get your hopes up, then murder them.

My Roommate is a Vampire.

I know it. I just do. She sleeps ALL day. Until three thirty and she's never asleep if the sun is down. Last night I decided to go out. Emily decided to stay in and watch a movie.

When I got home at midnight she was no where to be found. I figured "yay she's still watching tv! Room to myself!" At SIX AM I got up to use the bathroom, still no Emily. I figured she had fallen asleep on the sofa or gone to a friends and stayed the night.

Still no sign of her when I left for work at ten.

I got home at three pm and there she was. Asleep. ASLEEP. She woke up briefly and refused to tell me where she was. Suspiciously evasive. Now she's sleeping again and I'm sharpening the chair leg I just broke off for my own safety.
